I’ve been reading through the book of Luke in preparation for Easter Sunday, and God’s heart for the poor and marginalized never ceases to amaze me! In Luke 3, John the Baptist was told by God to encourage people to repent of their sin and be baptized to demonstrate a turning toward God for forgiveness.

As the crowds who had come to John to be baptized asked him “…now what do we do?”. John replies, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.” (Luke 3:11)

We are once again inviting the Advance Memphis family to “Share the Love,” with our neighbors! We’re offering tangible ways to give love this February, through the purchasing of supplies on our Amazon Wishlist that are focused on supporting all of our operations and programming.

Celebrate with us the big wins and small wins of Art for Jobs, graduate success stories, and continued growth in our warehouses!

We are blown away (again) by the amazing support of our patrons and donors at the 11th annual Art for Jobs art sale and fundraiser. As of today, Advance Memphis has raised $235,530 in gross proceeds, which goes toward our work in promoting economic stability in South Memphis.
